this is a cool video! I have never thought of the different kinds of government like that. Americans always say we have a democracy, but we really don't. so cool!
it is interesting that types of governments can be narrowed down to just republics and oligarchys, but even more interesting that we seem to be falling into the footsteps of the romans during the roman empire
there're definitely problems with our political system but I think it's really cool how our founding fathers intended for us to have a democratic republic bent on protecting life, liberty, and the pursuit of "happyness" and for the most part we've kept that. Although we have political parties that fight with each other, they're both fighting for what they think will better protect those ideals. it's just really cool...
