  1. How is the government allowed to give legislators such little time to read the bills? It is unfair and risky. Has lawmaking always been like this, or is it just recently that it has become like this?

  2. Man, those Crowleys really know how to do their homework and write a sweet article.

Does anyone else have the responsibility to review these bills thoroughly and find hidden items that maybe shouldnt be there besides politicians and their staffers before passage? Maybe elected officals should comb through their own legislation a little more before they push for a bill that they dont even know like they should.

  3. Much has been stated recently about this situation, especially with the health care act. Basically, they want to get it passed asap so they can rebate/fix it later. It's always easier to fix something after the country finds out about it.
